1 week late for period with killer cramps...Pregna...

I am about a week late for my period. I have cramps every day like I am about to start and I never do. I took a home test the first day I was late and it was negative. Could I still be pregnant? I have a one year old and I think I remember having cramps like this in the first trimester. What do you guys think...Should I get another test? I am sick of running to the bathroom checking to see if i started!My periods are ususally like clock work -every 28 days I feel like I am on my period because of the cramps very confusing.

haha...I would imagine that the stress alone is enough to keep your period away.

You could try another home pregnancy test...they're pretty accurate...but if you really want to know...of course, it's time to visit the ol' Doc!

Do another test You could be pregnant. I had cramps when I first got pregnant and everything was a normal pregnancy. Wait it out a few more days, you could have just ovulated late and that will make your period late.

I would take another test just to see and then also call and make a doctor appointment. It should be that bad, if you aren't starting and your not pregnant. Go and make sure nothing is wrong with you. Good Luck

It sounds like you are. It may have been oo early the first time you took the test. since it has been a week go ahead and take another. But that cramping looks like a good sign. good luck to ya!! I would give it another week or so then make an appointment with your doctor. Stress, among other things can cause your period to be late. The cramps, I'm not sure what to tell you on that, but I do hope it all works out for you!! And if you are pregnant, congrats!!!!

I don't think the cramps should be "killer", but mild cramping is normal. You should call your doctor in case you have an eptopic pregnancy causing the killer cramps. GOod luck!

I WOULD WAIT 1 MORE WEEK IF YOU HAVE NOT STARTED TAKE ANOTHER TEST, BUT ONY TEST YOUR MORNING PEE. IF IT IS STILL NEGATIVE WAIT THEN GO TO THE DOCTOR. BUT I MUST SAY THAT I THINK THAT AWOMEN KNOWS WHEN SHE IS PREGNAT, WE JUST LIE TO OURSELVES.

You should probably see a doctor. It may just be cramps and your late. However a tubal pregnancy can cause the same cramps and also show a negative on a pregnancy test. Tubal pregnancies can be very dangerous to your health.
