# 2 on the doctor?

I am due in March and I am so scared of going # 2 on the doctor. Cause they say u push like u r going to the bathroom. Do women actually go to the bathroom on the doctor?

Answers:
Well, it won't actually go on the doctor, and if you do, they'll just wipe it away and not say anything. I'm sure people who work in labor and delivery see about 50 spontaneous bowel movements a day. I did with my son, and didn't even realize it until after when my fiance told me because of my epidural.

It happens. Doctors are use to it. Everything gets cleaned up and taken care of. You probably won't notice or care.
Sometimes you do and sometimes you dont. If you have anything in your bladder or intestines you may go. Thats one reson why they dont let you eat when you get in the hospital. I had a cathider with my 1st child and so I didnt go. They are used to it so it wont be a surprise to them if you do. Its just a part of life and nothing you can do to stop from going. I dont think you will care either though because you will be pushing a baby out. Good Luck
It could happen ,and i know it probably it is not much help for your nerves, but dont be scared everything will be ok. And remember it will be over soon. Good Luck to you and Your Baby. congrats.
It sometimes happens, but don't forget that most labour runs into the 25 hours period. You'll have time to do business before the big pushes start.

I had the "pleasure" of a 5 hour labour. My water broke at 11:30 PM. My husband had just fallen asleep and I woke him up told him it was time. He didn't believe me because I was only 8 months.

My son was born just before 5 AM. It was a hell of a night, but I did not lose bowel movement or bladder control during the labour. Of course I didn't feel like doing anything afterwards too ;-).
it can happen. i doubt it would be the first time for the doc or the last. and you wont give a damn.
some doctors order a enima before active labor. it sounds bad but it does help.
