What Christian Religion have the best Sunday Program for kids?

Im a Catholic and love going to Sunday service but my two young kids keep me from doing it(noisy, live, whining, etc). As Catholics, we are supossed to just bring our young kids to Mass but with the sole purpose to get dirty looks and go home frustrated a bit than in peace! I believe more than a Catholic, Im a Christian so I want to find a new Church to step where my kids can be taught something or play, while I can soak up the Service. Any ideas?

Answers:    I'm Pentecostal and I think they own the best Sunday Programs for kids. They teach the kids mini stuff from the Bible like the adults, keep hold of them under control and also teach them entertaining stuffs similar to organize a drama or a song to be sang to the congregation at massive during special occasions
Not every church of the same religion have the same policies. Some churches of a certain religion may enjoy a nursery for the services while another church in the same religion may not. Like clever, one church may have a great youth program while a different church in duplicate religion may not have one at all.
I would suggest you 'shop around' until you find a church that meet your needs. Don't start with a particular religion just because you've heard it have good kid's programs. Start with one that match your beliefs and needs. Each Church has a different kids program; its not really give or take a few which denomination, but which church you choose.
Your church doesn't have ANY Sunday school for kids? I am Catholic and every church i've gone to have both Sunday school during mass and camps and other events. Even our small summer church has tons of kids activities AND a crying room near tv so if kids act up parents can remove them from the general congregation. I lately don't think you should make this a Catholic issue, when it is clearly something like your individual church; not catholicism in general.

You might merely call up various churches within your area (Lutheran, Episcopalian, etc... that will be familiar to you) and ask if they hold any children's programs.
I had the same problem beside the catholic church, how can someone try and make young kids sit through that every week...they aversion it!
I go to a Baptist church now and they own sunday school during church and a nursery to keep them busy. This passageway they actually learn in the order of Christ in ways they understand and are excited to hold going!!
Check out some different branches of Christianity such as Baptist and Prodestant and attend one of their masses so you can try it out.

Good luck!
well it vary from church to church but where are you i know a good one i jump to a christian church it has a nursury and kids room all denominations of christian churches own a nursery program. It just depends what denomonation you are confortable with. Try looking surrounded by your local phonebook or online, good luck
we have awesome service for small kids...babies..and even teens..
we walk to a Church of GOD Maybe you could find a non-demoninational church in your area that have a great kids program. The one we attend has seperate kids rooms and the preists tell joke, they sing kid-friendly songs and play. It's loud, entertaining and fun. They aren't expected to sit silently through an hour of a Catholic priest talking about things that are opening over their heads. I had to do that every Sunday as a kid and it be torture! I also didn't learn anything from it, I was so bored I be nearly in tears. I would just call in churches in your area and see what they own to offer for kids.
Our Catholic church has a "cry room" especially for babies and babyish children. I would look for Catholic churches in your area that hold out such a feature. If not, just sit contained by the back and take your child out if/when they start to fuss and put your foot around with him/her.

All parents have varying level of tolerance when it comes to their crying children in church. Some take their babies out at the first sign of a whimper, others step the other extreme and stay even though their child is in full wail-mode. I don't mind it when I hear children crying (I like it in fact, I miss my children being babies and I loved it when I could rock them and comfort them. Sigh...) Unfortunately, some folks are not as kind and long-suffering with a crying child.

Maybe starting a program for younger children is something that you and other parents with youthful children should consider. Your children will not stay this young forever. Have patience and soon they'll be grow enough to behave during Mass.

This parish seems resembling a very vibrant one, is it near you?
