What chores do your kids do around the house? What is their allowance if any?

My 15 year old son is autistic so we give him repetitive tasks he can efficiently do. He does two sinksful of dishes each day -- take out the garbage each week -- walk the dog -- reads for at least a partially hour. He gets $15 a week but is responsible for school lunch (he can craft lunch from our groceries for free anytime -- I will make it for him if he asks the night before) and going to movies etc. next to his friends and for replacing things he damages at school (not on purpose but he broke a heart rate monitor for PE and lost a $40 flash drive within one semester).

12 year old daughter -- sweeps the dining room -- also walks the dog -- feed waters the dog -- reads at least 1/2 hour (not really a chore to her -- she is a bookworm) -- does 1 nouns of laundry a week -- keeps her room clean -- sometimes vacuums. $12 and she is responsible for paying for movies etc. next to her friends and her own school lunches (can make her own lunch from our food for free of course) and CDs etc.

Answers:    Well I am fifteen so I will detail you my chores I am responsible for.

I am responsible for three rooms : my bedroom, the bathroom, and the computer room.

It makes sense that I'm responsible for these rooms because I'm either within these rooms a lot or most of my stuff is in near. Haha.
I am responsible to make sure to keep the rooms tidy and if they bring messy or untidy I'm supposed to clean them. Trust me, I make sure these rooms are verbs I make sure that they don't get messy. I dislike to say this, and I know I might come off as rude but I study people like a hawk when they shall enter the computer room or do their business within the bathroom and such. I go in their after their done manufacture sure if anything's out of place. I can go rotten because well I don't want my hard work to be put to debris, lol. I guess you can say I'm my mom's daughter lol.

As of now, adjectives the rooms are clean - well my mom's curling iron and makeup are on the bathroom counter but she said she'll verbs it up since it's her mess (I love her so much right now), the computer room is very clean, I have to vaccum earlier because I also have another chore for a week or two which is to study my friends two cute guinea pigs. My room is very clean the singular thing I would say is on the floor or strange is sheet music - I have to sort that all out following.

As for other chores, well I bring the groceries inside when we get them and put them away.

It's not really a chore for me, but I guess it's considered a household chore but I resembling to help my mom out in her garden. I love to hose the flowers because I like to spray my feet beside the hose and I just like to look at the pretty flowers.

I will bring the junk cans out and in.

I fold my clothes and put my laundry away. Which it take me a while because I like to look at my clothes and sometimes I'll try them on just for fun. But don't verbs, they do get put away. I can say I made somewhat store or mall out of my closet/room everything's nicely organized surrounded by a fun way.

Also my other chore but it's my most favorite chore ever because it's so much fun is that I practice my flute, piccolo, and fife. There's no set time, really I'm supposed to practice my flute for an hour, but sometimes I'll have so much fun that an hour will turn into two sometimes two and a partially.

So those are basically my chores. Some might say they are not like mad. But I do my job to make sure the things I'm responsible for achieve done.

As for allowance.actually my mother's never been one to furnish me an allowance. Never has she given me one.I mean she'll grant money but it's not so much an allowance. It's just giving me a couple bucks.

I mean I guess if I do a really virtuous job with the bathroom and be in motion all out like re - coordinate the bathroom closet and clean the bathtub and wipe rotten the windows and mop the floor she might give me $20 bucks or more. But really I wouldn't honestly hail as it an allowance. So I don't think I have one. But I do capture money. Hmm...I'm sorry I lost my train of thought with this. It's going to cause me to devise about this which will bug me for awhile. But don't worry.

So there's my roll of chores. :D
Well, Im 17, I keep the entire house clean higher than taking care of my three little brothers (a full job surrounded by itself) and work... I dont get any allowance for what I do and I have no free time... Haha, Soooo, I guess that does not really apply here... But when I be younger and it was just my oldest younger brother and I (and our ancestral as a whole was somewhat organized) next we were responsible for the dishes, trash and sweeping after dinner and usually clearing the table plus our own messes that we made during the day. We have to keep our rooms tidy and clean the bathroom, that we shared, once a week. We also have to feed/ water and walk the dog everyday and verbs the cat's litter box. There would be random things on some days so My mom would just hand down the list on the back of the door when she not here in the morning and there would be consequences if it be not done when they got home. My brother and I got along GREAT though so we shared the inventory and did everything together... i guess none of that still really doesnt help you but it was fun to write... haha. my son is nearly 5.
he pairs up the socks from the laundry. he puts the wash in the washing contraption and presses the start button, he makes his bed. he puts dirty laundry in the kitchen.

whenever he does his job, he gets a random reward. a few coins for his money box or a biscuit or a story or trip to the park. we own put lb10 into his bank every month since his birth, but the coins in his money box tight-fisted more to him than lb10.
My 11 year old step daughter does the dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner while I clean the rest of the kitchen, my son have to take out all of the trash around the house, my daughter have to pick up her toys or mess. and between all of them to earn a lil more cash, they call for to clean up their rooms. My daughters will do all the chores along next to their mother. My sons will do things like weed the garden, get groceries for their mother, and lift out the trash. My wife and daughters will be in charge of cooking and cleaning the house. There is no reason for children to go and get an allowance.
