Do you quality that since you've have kids, you're much "older" surrounded by a sense?

Like you've aged quicker since being a parent? I just turned 28yrs, own a 1yr and due with twins in Oct. My best friend turned 28yrs 2ms beforehand me and just got occupied. Comparing myself to her...I feel so much...older lol.
Anyone else surface the same, especially if you're young and compared to someone your age who doesn't own kids?

Answers:    Big time. I just turned 21yrs and have a 2.5yr daughter. I own so many responsibilities and feel similar to I've had them for years even though 3-4yrs ago, I was a senior surrounded by high school.
It really hit me lately though. I went to my girlfriend's apartment the other day and she be on the computer watching the music video Leavin' by Jesse McCartney. I said to her, "Is that kid legal yet?". She looked at me, made a frontage, turned back to the screen and responded beside, "He's the same age as us." Here's a 21yr guy who looks like hes 16, 17yrs, have probably next to no responsibilities, fooling around with some impulsive girl in a video etc. Then I said outloud, "He couldn't handle a 2.5yr frail." I feel so much older compared and it's rather scary.
Many people my age are going into their senior year of college, hold no worries, party all the time etc. I get the impression the inner parent/adult that I am comes out when I say to my friends, "Ok, don't drink too much." and "A $30 dollar bill and you're complaining?" I have so frequent worries and feel like I'm aging swiftly!
I don't regret it though. My daughter is my world.
Not really. I have days where a prior knees injury that occured as a toddler flares up and bothers me(always has a few times a year or so). Other than that I'm in shape, and touch fairly good. Of course pregnant I find sleepy a little more than normal. Sometimes obligation to take a nap, but that phase is suddenly passing. For me, the people my age minus kids look/feel older, because they are out partying all hours of the dark, not sleeping well, and not eating nutritious ect. So physically no I still feel the same as ever.

Mentally, yes I do quality older. I've lived/traveled all over the U.S., bought my house at 19, hold purchased 2 lot vehicles, built credit standing, done research on more things than I could even begin to list(mainly finances, realestate, economics). Very up to date next to realestate coast to coast.
While most of the people I went to college with are worried about tanning, clubbing, b/f's, merely 100% different stuff. So mentally, yeah i feel a lot elder then my age group for the most part. I love coming across those my age that I'm able to hold a convo with..most of the time it a short time ago doesn't happen.
It is not my birthday that makes me get the impression older it is that of my children.
I'm 31 now but a couple years ago when I be in my twenties I was working beside a guy who went out and partied every weekend and be just finishing University. After a couple weeks we discovered we were both like peas in a pod age. I was sure he was a accurate 5 or more years younger and I'm sure he felt the same in the order of me (I had 2 kids at that time) Oh definatly. I had my twins 7 years ago and very soon have a four year old and a 5 month outdated. I'm only 27 and sometimes I feel approaching I'm 47. I have a friend who is only a couple months elder than me but I agree with you, I feel much elder than her. Children age you, you have to grow up quickly within order to take watchfulness of them!

Good luck with your twins! I know mine were a handful! lol
I am 26 beside a 3yr old girl and a 2yr old boy and my husband and I are 25yrs outmoded and we feel older but I cogitate it is because we are responsible for providing for our children and the things we use to do we choose not to do because we have these precious babies we are responsible for. Don't think of it as getting outmoded but as being mature and responsible. I'm 19 and I hold a 2 year old. My sister is 21 but I do feel much elder than she is. I think that I feel elder because I am more responsible. When you have kids, you have to not individual feed yourself, but make sure that they chomp through too. Plus, you can't just take bad to see a movie. It has to be a planned event.
No to your question since I don't enjoy kids. I have free time, money, energy and a zest for go that those burdened with sproggen don't have. I hoot at all these people who are bloodshed themselves for the sake of their little crotch trophies. I'm in my late twenties and every once within a while I'll say to myself, "What are you doing?! You're acting like an infirm prude!" I always give myself a veracity check. I'm NOT old. I just quality it. ha ha.. repeat mantra.

Yes! It ages you. There's no stopping it.
LOL that's very true and also I see a lot of what my mom be trying to say and do. HAHA thats so true..its because all the responsibility and form decision before a short time ago you now you have to include your kids..its a big responsibility.. but its very amazing..to be part of them
Yep...Im 23 and consistency like a worn out old woman sometimes! I think all the worrying you do nearly your kids takes years from your life
