Babysitting roommates child who won't sleep, suggestions?
Answers: What if you tell him, he DOESN'T have to sleep but he must lay on his bed and enjoy some quiet time (maybe a book).
Sometimes a little reverse psychology works...he'll be thinking he's WON, because you said he didn't have need of to sleep but chances are he'll fall asleep when his BODY calm down.
I hope it works!!
Good luck!
Is he young enough to step in a stroller? If so, stick him in it and purloin him for a long walk, if he is too old for that hold you tried reading him a story? Try to get him in his bed and any read him a story or just sit and talk to him for a while, hopefully he will twist down eventually! what about a movie to fall asleep too?
I'm a nanny I no what youre going threw. You will want to put the door spinal column on. Just take the handle past its sell-by date. Its alot easier to explain.
Just act hard, approaching rude almost. Don't even listen to him, just point to his room and say "stir I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT" I had to be like that which is not who I am.
virtuous luck
Eventually he will fall asleep. um, you should make friends next to him first. read a book, share a joke, get some biscuits, adjectives those things...then he'll gain your confidence like his mother.
Warm milk and a hip bath, works on my little one like a charm. bribe him..,. cash a soda contained by the morning, what ever you can..
Let him watch a movie with you he'll slump asleep... wow, what a situation to be in. is there any movies you could put on that you could examine together, at least then he may still down? I find lavender oil in a grease burner helps my kids calm down, but i dont know if his mum would approaching that, or if you have any? Warm milk?
Keep as calm as you can beside him, so he does not react to any stress he is picking up.
Does he have anything exciting coming up (zoo tripp/sleep over etc) you could other say he cant go if he does not level-headed down and at least try to go to sleep. Cos you will detail his mum??
good luck
