"when are you ready to be a parent?"?
Answers:
You can be a parent when you are responsible enough to take care of child, when you have the proper abilities and the financial support to make sure your child lives in a safe and healthy environment.
Also, you need to make sure you are psychologically prepared because the amount of stress could be overwhelming. But the payout is priceless. And you MUST have time to be with your child.
Of couse, these are only some outlines, there are a lot more to take into account.

There is no certain age parenting is the hardest thing in the world to do remember you are bringing a life into this world and molding it's mind to be a good human being which is very hard now in this world. So basicaly it is all up to you and whom ever your having it with, and it has become very exspensive. I'm a nanny and I do have a 19 year old son who lives on his own. But being a nanny is very important because I am responsable for another little persons mind. I got really lucky with my son for the first 10 years of his life alls I did ws work full time and weekends and never saw any of his first baseball games, football,or flag football. Thank goodness he has a wonderful stepfather who adopted him who was involved in all that and had normal working hours. But I was 18 when I had him, and my goal was to work to take care of my child,so there are aloit of different situations out there you need to look at and how important it is to raise a child. I'm very lucky my son is a very strong independent young man. when you have put money away so that one parent can stay home and parent the child for at least 5 years (kids are not meant to be raised by day cares) and own a home (kids are not meant to be in apartments - they need yards to run and play in)
and in some cases people are not ever ready
