How can I keep my 15 month old from getting his legs caught in the crib slats?!?

It's getting to where he's getting hurt if I'm not right there to rescue him. He sticks his leg out (on purpose I think) before or after his nap and can't get it out. Is there some kind of mesh liner I can attach? He's a climber so I want to be sure it's nothing that will assist an escape out of his crib! Any ideas?! Only serious suggestions please ;)

dont waste your money...
let him be
he can only learn from this.... this is how children learn about their limits and how to help themself... he will call out when he needs your help...

my son climbed out of his oct when he was about 18 months... it is ok... they only do things if they can... and when it comes to climbing out of a cot they have a pretty good idea on what they need to do for a succesful escape...

all children do this... try to give them a bit of freedom to learn... he will benefit from it...

anyway mesh may make things more dangerous as if he does slip he wont have anything to grab onto... if he wants to get out he will... he knows his cot... he has been sleeping in iot for probably about a year now...

the fun part will be when you finally see how he makes that great escape... get your vdeo camera ready!
Buy a play-N-go(playpen) he can sleep in it and it has mesh sides. They usually aren't too much.
