Answers:
What a great question! Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there.

To me the most wonderful thing about being a mother is...in the dead of silence...hearing my children's laughter. Letting me know that everything I deal with on a daily basis is worth it.

To me the hardest thing about being a mother is ...questioning whether or not I made the right decision in their regard. Hoping that the decisions I make will properly care for them now, and teach them how to be great adults.

to me the best part of being a mother is hearing my children say "i love you mommy" the hardest part of being a mother is knowing someday i will have to let them go and make their own mistakes.

The most wonderful thing about being a mother is just being there to experience the miracle of life and watching your children grow form beautiful babies into wonderful adults. There is nothing to compare with the experience of motherhood.

The hardest thing about being a mother is having to learn to let go. There is just no easy way to go about it. Every mother has to let go at some point and to some degree. Most wonderful: The look on my child(ren)s face when they hug and kiss me and say 'I love you mommy'! It's profound!

Hardest: Having to let them learn from their mistakes and not being able to take away emotional pain. That's HARD!

Happy Mothers Day! Best thing- yes I agree the innocence they have.

Worst thing- the things they do when they throw a temper tantrum. Sometimes you can't help but laugh!!! Wonderful question!!

Best thing: Sharing someone elses DNA!!! I am adopted and my son( will be 3 in Aug.) is the first blood relitive I have ever had in my whole life! Also, the fact that he is still nursing. It is a great bond between us. And the I love you Mama! and the hugs and kisses! The last thing is that I am happy that I get the honor of being a stay at home mom!!! :o)

2. The bad thing: lack of sleep! He is still waking up 3-4 times a night! and he hardly takes naps! He is up at 6:00 AM. If I am lucky I can get him down for a nap at 3:30 PM and then he is up until at least 10:00 PM. Then he is up at 12:00 AM, 3:00 AM & 5:00 AM And then up for good at 6:00-6:30 AM!!

I love being a mom, and I wouldn't trade it for the world!!

Happy Mom's day to all!! Thank you for such a wonderful question and details. It's refreshing.
To answer the first question, the most wonderful thing about being a mother is just looking at these little people learning, growing, experiencing the world and of course their hugs and kisses are wonderful. They love me because I'm Mommy and nothing else.

To answer the second question, the hardest thing about being a mother is knowing that this world isn't very nice and that as much love as I shower my children, someone will come along and hurt them as much as I've loved them. Knowing that someday they may become part of all the different statistics, that the world will only ever see them as a number, now that's the toughest part of being a Mom. the best thing for me about being a mother is being able to love my children unconditionally and have them look in my eyes and know that they relly on me to comfort them when they are hurt or just need a hug, i love their innocence and the way their hands feel in mine i love the way my 11 year old looks when she does something for us that makes her happy and i love the way my 2 month old feels when i rock her to sleep and know in my heart that no other person in the world will love them the way i do and most of all i love being able to raise my girls and i don't take that for granted because my first born son passed away soon after his birth 13 years ago and i missed all this stuff with him and that is why i appreciate my children.
there is nothing bad about being a mother even the late night feedings, lack of sleep, and many missed meals, and getting puked on are all worth the journey of their lives
happy mothers day to all out there even the single fathers Happy Mother's Day to all moms!!! I'm a mom of two boys, ages 5 and 2.

Most wonderful: Watching them learn and grow, becoming their own person. Listening to their belly laughs! Watching them experience EVERYTHING for the first time, or notice things for the first time.

Hardest: Seeing disappointment or frustration. Knowing there are and will be times that I can't make everything better. My children realizing mommy doesn't know everything!

Magnify the good times, they are so much more important than we make them!
