? for stay at home mother's, i am looking for.....?

I am currently working out side of home, but i want to go back to being a stay at home mom, til my daughter starts going to school full time. it's hard keeping a babysitter, because either i dont like how they treat my daughter, or they ask for too much money, that i can't afford and if i put my daughter on a waiting list for daycare, it usually takes up to 6 months to a yr, to get my daughter in day care which is worthless in my opinion! anyways Im trying to find a descent work from home job, that is real and pays good....i dont trust many jobs offerred through the internet and ive heard Avon is a rip off, plus i dont have a vehicle to get around from place to place (still working on getting my license too)...so what other kinds of job are there out there for stay at home mom's? any suggestion would be helpful as long as it is a real job, not some rip off! thanx for your help!

i'm a stay at home mom and plan on going back to work after my children are in school. i worked in the medical field for a home health care and when i was on maternity leave for my first one i did medical transcription from home, but with that requires schooling and some places require that you put in a least two years in office before you can work out of the home. the pay is decent and you are not on a tight time schedule.hope this helps.

Well, it sounds to me like you want a perfect world! I know you want what is best for your daughter and I completely respect you for that. I would have to say try doing medical transcription or even stuffing envelopes. I saw somewhere you can do filing of insurance claims at home. Whatever you find, I wish you luck!

i do this... I am a nanny in my; own home.. I love it.. Not only do I get to spend with my daughter, but I also am able to allow her interaction with the other children.. I don't get paid a ton but make about 300/week for two children.. enough for groceries and some bills and my husband does the rest..

It sounds like you're hard to please. Everything that you that you mention as options are negative. You have managed to find a reason for each thing why they will not work for you. Perhaps you could find a happy medium that allows you to spend some time with your daughter (less cost for daycare) and part-time work - anywhere. you could watch other children from your home,
if you are a decent writer, you could write and submit webcontnet and articles,
if you are good in any particular subject, like math, science, etc or talented in Piano or voice, you could tutor kids from your home.
