should a police be treated different when it comes to leaving a child in a hot car?
Answers:
Absolutely not! Being a police officer he should be very aware of the law and the possibility of a child dying in a hot car. He's probably had cases like that before so, no excuse. If anything he should have been more aware of the possibilities, in his line of work. It is his job to be an authority figure, to be responsible and to protect and serve and he didn't even protect his own child. I think it's an outrage. I feel sorry for him but not as much as I feel for the mom and for the poor deceased baby.
There should not be a difference. He should get the same punishment as everyone else.
