**M/F**How did you find out about menstruation, do you have any funny stories, what do you call your period???

I am interested in stories from both men and women, I want to learn how to go about discussing it in a fun way, I'm writing a report on periods and menstruation for school and I need both perspectives!! PMS and Menopause stories are great too!

Thanks

i remember when one of my close friends had her first period in the middle of lunch at school. she was really really freaked out, and said she wasnt quite "prepared" that day. so i ended up "accidentally" dumping most of my lunch on her lap. she got to call her mom to get a change of clothes, and she waited in the office until her mom got there....lol, she ended up going home. but she was like "oh my god... i love you so much!! i was about to cry right before you did that."

it paid off for me though. a few years later she was friends with this girl i liked, and all my good stories came back to help me out.

in 8th grade we had to take health with "the weird guy". one girl asked him how to insert a tampon and to show her he inserted it up his nose. to show how to put on a condom we had to use really ripe bananas (really mushy) and half the classes banana was on the floor.

i call my whole package susie and aunt flo comes to visit.
can't wait for her to go away.

aunt flo started to visit on fathers day and i was alone with him and no pads or anything. dad had to buy them
I was 14 and that day my mom was working and me and my big bro' were fighting I mean fiscal fighting he was punching me in my stomach and my head too. Later I told him my stomach hurts and he was your just joking and I was no am serious.I went to the restroom and I notice i was bleeding I started screaming and cursing him. Am like call 911 am bleeding I might die right now. He was very scare and I show him the toilet. We were both crying and I called my mom and she explain me that it was just my period but that didnt help we didnt stop crying until she got home one hour later. Now we are scare to fight and he is 23 and am 21.
Sorry no funny stories... but in our family they are called "GIRLY MONSTERS!" lol
well,in my family we call periods "aunt flo". my little cousin (who is a 4yr old boy) over heard me and my other cousin talking about about aunt flo, and he wanted to meet her. we told him she lives out of town, so he couldnt see her. then he asked my mom who aunt flo was and she started laughing.
