2 centimeters dialated?
Answers:
With my last child, I went into the hospital after seeing the pinkish red and they believe it or not sent me home! They said all the pink had to be gone,,,it had to be like red ---period red.
I was dialated 2cm for 3 weeks before delivering. Everyones different though. Your best bet would be to go to the hospital and see...the worst they could do is send you home.

It's sounds like you have lost it. My niece went for over a week without hers. Just don't have sex because you risk infection and if you feel your water break, go to the hospital immediately. And Congratulations!

bloody show-is the term and i had my son 4 hrs. later You need to pack your bags (if you haven't already) sweetie, you could possibly go within the next 24-48 hours. My water broke 17 hours after I lost mine. I'm not sayin you will but it's possible.
Just incase you need to know what your water breaking feels like... It will seem like your peeing but you can't stop it, or control it in any way, and when you sit it will seem like a gush.
50% effaced does not mean 5 centimeters...yes you have lost mucous plug. I lost mine and was 2 cm for a good week before having my son. It REALLY varies from person to person. Your best bet would be to give your OB a call and let him know. Are you having contractions? That is going to be your best call and probably what your OB is going to ask you....They need to be about 5 minutes apart before you need to get to the hospital.
Good luck.
That's it,carry your hindpot's to the ER and get of the darn computer girl. A girl I know lost her "Bloody Show" about 3 weeks before she had the baby. I however, didn't lose mine either time! Good Luck!
