Try consulting your doctor to see if your baby is still on the weight/age/height chart that they use for comparative analysis of children. My daughter just recently turned four, and is still in 18 month clothes. She is just a petite child though. Can't argue with the genetics.

My baby is 16 months old and weighs 27 pounds.
when my baby was 5 months old, she weighed about 18 lbs..she was overweight though. as long as they're still active, it's fine.

there weight will vary depending on how much they weighed when they were born and how much they eat. when my son was 4 months he was 15lbs 1oz and at 6 months he was 17 lbs 6oz he didn't have a check up at 5 months. (Yeah I checked his baby book!)
