"Lop-sided" belly?

Question:
(I'm using this catagory because you girls know the most about these things.)
I am 5 ft. exactly and weigh 97 lbs. (so I'm not very big). I'm having my period now and usually do get a little bloated as a side effect, but this time when I look straight down at my belly I can see that it is obviously "lop-sided". What I mean is a small area directly to the right of my navel is flat but the small area directly to the left is destended, like an actual bump. It's really strange. I've been bloated before but never only on one side. It's not hard and doesn't hurt, which rules out being a mass or hernia, so what is it? Should I worry?

Answers:
I'm not really sure what it might be. if it doesn't go down after your period ends then i would see a doctor. Ive experienced having a lop-sided belly but that's only because I'm pregnant and that where the baby was sitting at. but you might just be bloated. just wait and see if it goes down and if not get it checked out.
no dont worry its prob. a side affect of any meds and or a period thing if u are really worried just go to the doctor and have him check it out
