4 different due dates, which is most accurate????
Question:
Answers:
the earlier the ultrasound is taken, the more accurate it is in telling the due date. when babies are in the early stages of developing, they all pretty much look the same, but when you get further in your pregnancy you have big babies, small babies, tall babies, etc. that is why they can tell more accurately when the ultrasound is taken early. congrats!

4 driffent dues dates see your doctor to get the right one
You due date can be off as much as two weeks. It depends how far apart the due dates they gave you are.the one on your ultrasound. My doctor told me my due date was the 16th and the ultrasound said the 8th. I started having contractions on the 7th and was induced on the 8th. You always go with the first unless you have spoken to them and set another... ROB
no disrespect intended here, but, how the heck would we know? we are not doctors, we have not examined you.
Your due date is just a well educated guess based on the information you give your doctor. the truth is you will deliver when that baby is ready to enter this worldi had the same issue. they were as far as two weeks apart. my daughter was born as was they thaught a 32weker, but she acted more like a 34/35 weeker, came home after three days. 4lbs ,17 1/2inch pooping ,crying, eating and breathing. I have three children and not one of them arrived on his or her due date.
The sonogram can reveal some about the baby, but do not take this as the final word. My first son's sonogram, on the day he was born, revealed that he was 8 pounds 1 ounce. At birth (later that day) he weighed in at 9 lbs 8 oz.
Just relax and enjoy your pregnancy. When your little one is ready to come out and meet you he or she will. You can't rush these things and, unless you are scheduling a section or inducing of labor, you can't predict them either. Everybody likes surprises! Just enjoy those full nights of sleep now, while you can!
will you can actually have your baby 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after due dat and it will be ok so just plan your going to be expecting around the first of november my due date is july 30 but my doc done told me my water could break now and everything would be fine so i would stick with around the first of november the first one since the fetus at this age can be most accurately measured, the older the baby, the greater the margin of error. I'd stick with the first one.
If all of the sonograms that you had were just in your doctor's office - I wouldn't go by these dates at all. The portable ultrasound units that are in doctors' offices are more of a "look and see" kind - not as advanced as the ones that they have in the radiology units.
Also, if you've had one done at one of those places that give 3D or 4D ultrasounds, those are not considered medically accurate, and are just for fun. That's why they won't take your insurance card - insurance companies refuse to pay them because they're only for fun.
The ultrasound that you had, or will have - they usually take several measurements of the baby. A good tech will take three measurements each of the head, abdomen, femur, and heart rate. By these measurements, they can more accurately guess the baby's gestational age.
And not only that - but even the most highly advanced ultrasound machines can misguess by as much as a week off. However rare that is, it can still be a couple days off.
But in any rate - a due date is just a guess. Only God & your baby know what day the birth will be, unless you are having a planned induction or planned C-section. In most healthy pregnancies, birth can happen by as much as 4 weeks early (36 weeks gestation), or up to 10 days after the due date.
