Birthday ideas?

my daughter will beturning 6 in Sept. I was thinking about throwing her a surprise party. My 1st question is do you think a surprise party would bi ruined at that age( like, would she find out?) Also, I am looking for some different ideas for themes or places. I am on a limited income but want to do something other than a park or bowling aaley? Any suggestions? Any themes?

I had a surprise 'party' when I was 6, but my sister ruined it. I think it would work as long as you tell everyone that its a surprise and you cant say ANYTHING about it. a good theme would be princess, and you can get a little tiara&wand for a couple bucks at walmart. you could have it at your own house... or at a skate rink. if you have each kid bring money for skate rentals, you cann skate for a couple hours then have cake, ice cream, and open presents. if all of the guests meet you at the rink, then you tell her you are going to the store, it will surprise her... good luck

I dont think at age 6 she would really understand it. Try just planning a party theme of a character that you know that she likes. Or even better take her and a couple of her closest friends to a bear builder shop. Those are always fun, and they set up everything for you.
