Teething problems, HELP!?

My baby girl is just miserable right very soon. I have literally tried EVERYTHING! I took her to the doctor on Thursday and she said that she could feel her teeth coming contained by, and they should break through within a week. She is soooooo fussy. I have tried Oragel, Tylenol, teething rings, (cold ones and vibrate ones) and nothing is helping! She is going through about 5 bibs a light of day from all the drool, is not eating very well or sleeping well. I'm so frustrated that I can't help her! So the pharmasist today recomended the Hylands teething tablets, I enjoy given her 2 and they don't seem to be doing anything. Has anyone else used them or have any other suggestions? Please relieve!

Answers:    We just tried the teething tablets today, and they do seem to contribute some relief...he loves to gum cold watermelon--they have the mesh feed teethers-if you put it in there she can suck or chew on it in need the risk of choking--you can buy them at babies r us and i think they have them at walmart-they are merely 7-9 bucks cant remember exactly...ihave also tried putting my finger in a cold damp washcloth and rubbing it on his gums that seem to help some too...--or you can always try the dated fashioned way and rub a little whiskey on her gums it works better than oragel so i be told-thats what my grandma used to use...teething can b really miserable--good luck and if you need some support feel free to email me-i hope these couple things back...
I've used them and they work pretty well. I also use Homeopathic Teething Drops from Gentle Naturals.
If nothing else works, supply her Tylenol, it's safe and effective, lately don't over use it. We use it on the days when nothing else seems to work.

I would say-so no to the oragel they swallow it & can cause upset stomachs.( got that info from one of the few mommy & me classes I go to & there were two dental assistants nearby who told me this)
Old time remedy got get a pinch of whiskey dip you finger into it & rug it on her gums As I be reading your question I was thinking contained by my head that you should try the teething tablets. I tried them and they didn't seem to work but I hold a friend who swears by them. Have you tried just a cold washcloth or something like that?
The tablets don't work at lowest possible for my son- i gave him foods he liked that he didn't other get that were soft -like cheerios-i used a LOT of oragel i lately keep it on him it;s tuff let her chew on anything she will (as long as its safe)-good luck What i do for my 4month explicitly teething i give him some Biter biscuits they are made by graduates and they work! after after he gets done with that i administer him oreal gel and he goes right to sleep
