Did your 2 1/2 month frail enjoy dry, flakey spots on his skin?

My baby has have really dry spots on the back of his thighs right under his diaper, on his arms close to his elbows, and his upper put money on and shoulders. Then their is a wierd pink tint in the creases of his neck. It's not dry but it is resembling peeling a little. He get a bath about 3 to 4 times a week. I put lotion on him every light of day. And it was only on his legs until today when i thought if i put infant oil in his hip bath that it would help. But now it made it opening worse. Im calling the doc tomorrow but I don't want her to think im crazy and that it is just dry skin or somthing! Is their anything that might brand name it go away? Is it normal at adjectives?

Answers:    Newborns are often very flaky, crusty, peely, pimply, and cruddy. My daughter is in a minute 2 and a half years old, but I remember when she be brand-new, I thought "all those things people speak about 'baby-soft skin' and 'baby-perfect skin' are a load of bull!"

I remember asking my pediatrician roughly my daughter's flaky skin, and I was told it was common and not to worry about it. Definitely name your doctor if you're concerned -- don't worry about seeming "crazy" or anything; you're a mom, you requirement to know what's going on with your child. Chances are, it's nothing chief. But if it's bothering you, then don't hesitate to ask your pediatrician.
