HELP! My 7month old baby boy seems to have a very harsh case of diaper rash! Anyone have any suggestions?!?

I've used desitin, vaseline, etc. I even try to let his bottom air out for a few hours during the day. I was watching THE VIEW yesterday and Rosie O'Donnell actually said her doctor advised her to use her dog's saliva to treat it...but i'm not too sure about that one!

My oldest had HORRID diaper rash when he was 2 weeks old. And every time my youngest gets sick he gets it too. At a certain point it can become a yeast infection, even on a boys skin and you should use something like lotrimin or monistat cream to help clear it up. Otherwise as long as the skin isn't broken...mix 1/3 lubriderm skin lotion, 1/3 mylanta, and 1/3 desitin and use that, it will be like runny diaper rash cream when mixed and you have to stir it before each use but it was the only thing that helped with my oldest. If he's been on antibiotics recently then more than likely it's a yeast infection and you should try monistat cream on it to see if it works...good luck
Butt Paste or Balmex is the best for me!!!!!!!
