11 weeks and eating 48-62oz of formula daily?

Question: Dr didn't seem concerned. Has anyone elses Dear Child eaten this much at this age? He weighed 14lbs 11oz and was 24 1/4 inches long on monday and he was born at 7lbs 6oz and 20 1/2 inches long on June 27th. The nurse said I should start him on cereal, but I thought it was too soon to do that.

Answers:
According to what they say it is too early to start cereal. However if your child isn't getting full on formula and is a bigger baby, they tend to put them on it earlier.

It's so crazy for me to think of because my son is 3 months old and he barely takes 4oz bottles.

You maybe can mix a small amount of cereal in his bottles because it doesnt look like that milk is filling him up anymore!
