He wont go back to sleep?
Answers:
Sorry about it but this is part of motherhood. If he is real fussy then he is uncomfortable in some way; hungry, changing, teeth, etc. The mor paniced you get about him being off schedule the more anxious he becomes and the more he won't go back to sleep. Sit down in a chair and dim the lights with him in your arms. Now talk to him soothingly (it doesn't matter if you are telling him about you day as long as you do it softly) sing to him and it doen't matter how bad you sing. Your voice is what he needs to hear. Now rock back and forth slowly. If you can do this on the couch you may find that you both end up asleep and happier in the morning.
Feed him or sing to him. It always works for my baby.
