you know yourself how painful it is being constipated, a short time ago imagine it for a baby ! jump to the chemist and they will give you something to put into the milk- but for god sake do change dr's - your's sounds resembling an idiot .
are you on breastmilk or formula?
Prune juice will make his diaper erupt! If you make a payment a couple drops of dark karol syrup in next to his bottles of formula it'll keep his bowels moving. I did it with my little one and have no problems. Its perfectly safe. Or you can incorporate it in with a bottle of nursery river if you dont want to mix it with the formula. Dont add to much. Good luck! Some babies just poop once a week and it's completely normal. I wouldn't recommend giving your baby prune liquid or any other substances to make him poop as his digestive system just requests time to mature and work out how to digest food (formula/breastmilk).
Prune juice only made my daughter have cramps and gas. try rectal thermometer, it should get things going.
And regardless of what anyone tell you, if the child is formula feed, it is not normal to hold at least one poo every 24 hours.

I was a constipated baby too.. My mom told me it be hard for me to poo... I would always sweat and shift K.O. after a long hard poopy time.. But try prune juice, it worked for me Good luck!
