3 month old daughter weighs 16 lbs...?
Question:
Answers:
at birth she was in the 50th percentile and now is in the 95th percentile this would NOT be considered normal growth, even for a breastfed baby (which tend to gain faster) I will caution you to speak to your pediatrician because infants that exceed the 95th percentile are at risk for obesity related disease (heart problems diabetes cholesterol etc.) during infancy and easily childhood.
if your pediatrician does not seem concerned then you should not be either, breastfed babies tend to gain weight faster than bottle feed babies because of the amount of calories in breast milk!
