11 month old has diarrhea....?
Answers:
When my son was 9 months old he got diarrhea too. I ended up at the emergency room twice and the doctor three times. Finally, at the end of my tether, I called a pediatrician. Crying and frightened, I explained the problem. She told me to come in and she would see.
The first thing she wanted was a stool sample (no one else asked for one).
My son had a roto? virus. She put him on antibiotic and within 24 hours the diarrhea stopped. She was his doctor from then on.
I am not saying that is what is wrong with your son, but I wish someone had talked to me.
Good luck and God bless!

You really should take him to the hospital. I think Drs dont really know whats going on until they exam them.
Has he eaten fruit and lots of it that could be a cause. But if he has high fever I would take him to a doctor for another check-up to be on the safe side. Good Luck just let him know that you are their for him. It will pass. And keep doing what you are doing. love him
Take him to the ER.
And feed him (assuming he's eating these foods already) the BRAT diet: bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast in addition to the Pedialyte.
If you can't/won't do that check this site out on Diarrhea in children:
http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/diarrhea/#children I think you should stop feeding breastmilk if you are first. Also give the baby water boiled with arrowroot powder for him to drink in 2 hours interval. Also make sure to give infant formula such as Novalac PH or Babylac PH which is lactose free. Give her water and pedialyte at intervals to help for water loss.Every time she passes stool clean her properly and make sure to apply nappy cream such as Sudoderm.
Try this for a week and I am sure your baby will be OK. One trick I used when the kids were little was giving them Jello water. You mix it like the package says and give it to them before it gels!
Also, I would take your son back into the ER or to a pediatrician to have him tested! Its not normal for a child that young to have diarrhea like that! I hope your little guy feels better soon!
