Does anyone know any other tricks that might help???

I had the same question for my pediatrician when my daughter was the same age--and the same arguments about what works and doesn't. He insisted we try swaddling again; but, he said we should put her down just before she fell asleep. He said that's where the problem was--she wasn't learning to fall asleep on her own, so she couldn't fall back to sleep when she woke up in the middle of the night. The doctor also insisted that we let her cry it out a little. He said we should NOT pick her up when she did cry when she was first put down--he said we should reassure her by talking, singing, touching, etc. He told us to NOT make eye contact at these times, either. Thinking this was going to be the most painful thing for me and my husband to go through, I asked the doctor how long this should all take to work. He said it should take no more than 4 days. Our daughter was sleeping through the night in 2 days!
Try using a recieving blanket and wrapping her up tightly in it... (not too too tight) but just enough so that she feels cuddled...
