My 5 month old son breaths very heavy what could this be from?

also at night he snores is this normal

Answers:
Possible RSV. May seem like just a cold, but can be deadly in infants. My 4 month old son had it. And everytime he starts having labored breathing we give him a nebulizer treatment. There's no harm in taking your infant to the doctor to have it checked out. Good Luck!

ashma or genetics you should ask a doctor
When my Daughter was 2 months old she had RSV she was hospitalized for 1 week and they give her breathing treatments every 8 hrs. She was also breathing heavy. I would take him to pediatrician soon. Ask him about RSV!!!! Good Luck I hope it is nothing!!!!
go see a doc there a lot of things that could make him breath heavy most of them you don't wanna mess with
I would really say that its just your son finding his place, and that its nothing to worry about, When my son was first born he was wonderful perfect then about 2 weeks later i couldn't sleep in the same room as him as he was a very loud sleeper, i had a pediatrician that i had to go to every 6 weeks from the day he was born, for other medical issues and raised the same sort of question, He told me that some baby's just are like that if you know he breathing OK apart from been heavy then he will fine. He is properly just a heavy sleeper. Good luck
Get him examined by his pediatrician
no it isn't you must rule with an iron hand you must let him muster
does he do somersaults in his cot when you are downstairs?
If he snores it could be obstructive sleep apnea the air coming in through the nasal passages is not making its way to the babies lungs the baby then starts to breath through his/her mouth. you definitely need to take baby to the Doctor and make sure everything is okay.
