my baby is 7 months and is starting to stand along tables. is this too early? how soon could he be walking?

He should stand by the age of 7-8 months and walk with support by 9th month and alone by 11 months, this is not atall abnormal. don worry

7-8 months is about right for them to start grabbing on and pulling themselves up next to things. He'll be walking soon, have camera ready and start babyproofing higher.

Babies start cruising between 7 and 12 months and walking between 8 and 18 minths. Anything in that range is perfectly normal. If your baby was early it is no reason for concern, and if your baby is late for a milestone, it is often just variability. If theyare late for multiple milestones, then your doctor would discuss their concerns with you, but missing one milestone is not a concern.
It sounds like you have a precocious young one who will be more mobile sooner than later. Best of luck. I have 11 month old twins and they are almost walking and they get into the all sorts of trouble.
Every child is different, that is great if he is already supporting himself, do not worry, just encourage him............and just watch for sharp corners!!
If your son started pulling up on his own then its fine he'll let you know when hes ready to do things from pulling up to wanting to feed him self. milestones are reached at different times most ages you see are just averages you cant really compare babies. milestones are usually reached in a certain order but not always certain ages. he may choose to just cruise around holding on to things for months or he may have the confidence to just start walking like i said every kid is different! be prepared when my son be came more mobile he put every thing in his mouth!
My 15 month old boy did that about the same time. He started walking at 11 months.

no, not at all, ive seen an 8 month old with my own eyes walk very well, when my daughter was year, and not walking at all. Every baby is different. congrads!

every baby has different time clocks. some are walking on their first birthday, just make sure his/her diet is healthy and let your baby do its thing.
