Will my 9 mo old daugter enjoy a playpen yet? Shes crawling around everywhere already.?

YES buy one!!! get some things to entertain her mind while she is in there - also consider a walker where you can sit her in it and she can practice moving here feet and she will start the motions to walking!!

I used a gate, I had four of them, separating each room. Yes, it is a pain to step over them but think of it as effortless exercise! I did this because all of my children HATED playpens.
Definitely try it. As long as some of her favorite toys are in there and she isnt in there too long then she should be fine. Some kids hate it and some kids love it. It's worth a try though. But take her out as soon as she is ready or she will have a fit next time you put her in there.

i would agree with jessell. at first she may cry but then she will be ok. The key is you have to make her think it is the coolest place to be when she first starts to whine in there. but dont worry she will be ok.
I would try one all my kids had one (3 kids) 2 out of the 3 liked it... all depends on the kid. Put some of her favorite toys in there and give it a shot.. she may not stay in there for a long time but a few mintues gives you a break!
They will learn to crawl out of a playpen. Get a baby cage.

I would get one for her, just know that she will start pulling herself up, and eventually she will start to climb out! Have fun, they grow up too fast.
She may feel a bit restricted in it as she will be used to the freedom. However it is a change of scenery for her and she may enjoy it for a short spell. It is a good idea as you will be exhausted it will give you time to chill out. Is also makes great storage for all the toys, I just through all my daughters toys in her playpen at night.
