varied times depending on the circumstances, first baby?, any pregnancy problems?, good doctor?, usually childbirth lasts anywhere from 4-20 hours.

That's a tough question to answer because it takes everyone different amounts of time to give birth. Depends on medicines etc.... I had two of my children natural with no meds and it took only 2 hours for both. My third was a C section and that took about an hour. Just my experience.
Depends on how hard she pushes or if its a c section. With my first son was less then 4 mins with my second it was scheduled and was about 10 mins.
It's different with every woman. For example, when I had mine, it was a natural delivery and I didn't get the epidural, my water broke at 2 am, I got to the hospital at 3 am and my baby was born 5 hours later.

A friend of mine has 4 children and with all of them she had natural deliveries too. Once her contractions started, she had to run to the hospital because she is really quick, she spent like 15 minutes in labor with the 4 of them.

Another friend had contractions for 26 hours and then the doctor had to practice a C-section.
it really depends on the woman and the pregnancy. it took me 27 hours but my mom was only in there for 7 hours.
