is it okay to use the filtered water from the refrigerator to mix my baby's formula?

Question:
for 8 months, i've used the nursery water from the store, is it okay to use regular filtered water now? thanks for answers.

Answers:
yes, it's alright. But it's going to be cold, and your baby might not take it. You should warm it up in the microwave for only 30 seconds! 30 seconds only and no more! Also, make sure your filter is not too old. An old filter really don't filter anything anymore.

This is what I've done with my son when I gave him formula for a short while before switching to whole milk.

Other Answers:
It is ok to use the filtered water, but not straight from the fridge, it will be better if you use it at room temperature. You can filter it and cover it and leave it out of the fridge.
the best thing to use is jug water from the store. they have a brand of water at wal mart just for babies when it comes to mixing there formula it got fluoride in it to help there teeth
yeah i have never used nursery water lol never heard of it till then unless ur from a 3rd world country normal bolied tap water is ok filtered water is even beter
I paid for nursery water for a while, then I gave up. My pediatrician told me as long as the child does not have any serious medical problems that require sterilized water, any water is OK. I have an 8 month old and we either use tap water (we have city water) or water from our refrigerator. The only thing to steer away from is well water, it contains many more minerals and organisms than chlorinated water. Try out the fridge water and if your child's tummy tolerates it, go right ahead. When in doubt, ask your pediatrician. Good Luck!
I dont see why not...nursery water is just another way to make money cause parents think that they need to have it..
Tap water even if filtered can still harbor bacteria that can be harmful to a newborn. A cheaper version of the "nursery" water, is distilled water which wouldn't have to be boiled to make it safe since the boiling and sterilization occurs during the process of distillation.
okay
yes. It's filtered. And you'll probably save some money.
