is it OK to take photos of my baby daughter using the flashlight on my camera?

will it have bad impact on her eyes?

Answers:
Nope. It will be fine. She may startle, but she's not going ot be hurt by it. Little ones have natural reflexes - if soomething is too bright (sun, light fixtures, etc) she'll shut her peepers.
Snap away. Be a picture taking fool! The more pictures the better,

Other Answers:
No, unless you're planning to take 100 pictures a day.

Yes it is fine. Did your parents take photos of you? It will not harm her, only scare her a little. I don't think it would b a good idea

This will at best startle the baby, and nobody wants to deal with a baby who's been scared. Use your judgement here; if you have to ask, it may not be a good idea.

yes my friend took pictures of their baby the day he was born and he's fine.

they used the flash

can you imagine how they did it when the cameras used to smoke?? The really old ones?

Yeah it is fine : ) In the hospital most times someone comes around to take "first photos" so you can be assured it is safe. If the hospital will allow a professional to take a picture with a flash it can't harm your baby.

It will be fine just so long as she doesn't have prolonged exposure to the light, then it could do damage. Taking pictures with a flash is prefectly fine, as long as you are not constantly straining her eyes theres no harm in it.

so snap away :)

I always have, and my children see just fine. no but take 1 pic each day

Maybe one or two. Her eyes are so sensitive. That is why they come out red in photos. Try doing photos in the day instead or at least stand far back not to flash her to close in the face.
