My son is leeping excessively for a yea in a minute and have to quit college because of human being so exhausted?


THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 9-10 MONTHS AND HE CANNOT GET BY ON LESS THAN 12 HOURS OF SLEEP AND HE STILL FEELS EXHAUSTED. HE HAS NOTHING PHYSICALLY WRONG WITH HIM. WE HAD ALL THE BLOOD WORK DONE TO RULE OUT THYROID OR OTHER CONDITIONS. WHAT CAN HE DO TO GE BETTER AND GET BACK IN SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER. HE IS A HONER STUDENT AND HAD TO LEAVE GRADE 12 BECAUSE OF THIS

has he had a endorsed sleep study done on him? call your local hospital and ask if they provide and if not , where on earth is the closest place to go. My son, turns out, suffered from a very bleak sleep disorder that would never have been diagnosed save for this sleep study. He would have been peg as ADHD which would have been devastating (they needed to medicate) - once his sleep issue was corrected he is a perfect kid. Turns out he have a form of restless leg syndrome (its different in kids than adults but just as terrible) Sleep is such a complicated process that can be upset by so abundant differing issues. My son for example was sleeping for 10-12 hours but be only truly getting about 1 hour of well-mannered sleep a night! When you sleep for long period of time your body shuts down to much and makes it impossible to wake up. After 9 hours he HAS to stir up and do something, even if it is walking around the block. Make him exercise more so his blood starts flowing, and he gets energy. By the finish off of the summer he should be ready for school.
Does he own a televsion in his bedroom? That could be the problem. It has be proven that when kids have televisions on during sleep it interupts REM sleep and disrupts majority sleeping patterns causing sleep deprivation and restuling contained by problems in school as capably as falling asleep in class. You might want to remove the television or computer from his room if he have either one. (because being on a computer adjectives night long causes problems too) You inevitability to get a second third and even fourth if necessary view because clearly whoever did the first test is wrong and didn't explore any further so don't go wager on to whoever that was. Find a doctor willing to find out what is wrong and afterwards go from there but nearby is something wrong for sure and probably something easily corrected.

Also what time does he stir to sleep? If he goes to bed pretty late consequently make him go to bed more rapidly. Does he have nay trouble sleeping. And whats his diet like? If he is eatin gan seedy diet then make him drink a healthier one, and make sure he eat lots of fruit, and make sure he gets the right amount of calories.
You NEED to get hold of a second opinion. Something is obviously wrong. No one wishes 12 hours of sleep a night. Also, if this came adjectives of a sudden it also signals a problem. I'd look into chronic fatique syndome or even depression. its called mountin dew. or coffee.
