How can i get my child set up for home school?

i was wondering how homeschool works and how i can legally do it thanks!

ok, i have been home schooled for 11 years, and am in 11th grade. i do a lot of the legal paper work my self too. what you need to do is find the number for your state's department of non-public education. they will send you a form and you fill it out, atach a copy of your high school degree, and then you are ready to go. i recomened buying your books from rainbow resource center. you can go on line to rainbowresource.com to find out about ordering stuff. i never go with a "set curlicum" because there is nno real adventure in learning that way. i buy (my parents pay for it, but i choose it) whatever looks like a fun book for my age group on the subject i need.

ps spelling has never been my strong point, but i dont lack in any other subject. and i am at the 94% national reading level.
