i have a pinched nerve in my lower back what can i do to fix it?

certain ways i turn or bend it hurts bad.
Answer:
I had one for many years...if it's an organic problem, I would recommend "home traction". You get a weight, tie a rope around it, and place it over a door in your house. The other end of the rope gets attached to the body part that needs to be lifted, such as a back or neck brace...You can sit there for 15-30 minutes at a time reading, and being lifted, slightly!

Sometimes a physical problem generates a lot of stress & anxiety. In that case, I would recommend getting a prescription for a muscle-relaxer, or even drink some alchol, but only when you are in severe pain, otherwise you can start an addiction. This is how many professional athletes become addicted to medications which relieve pain...

Sometimes certian stretches will help with that. There is one that works great for me, I have to get down on my hands and knees and slowly go back and forth from arching my back to relaxing it completely (in a sort of rolling technique). I would definatly suggest having it looked at by a professional, sometimes they give Cortisone shots for pinched nerves.
I can't say it's the answer for you but,I also had a pinched nerve.I stood feet apart arms out and twisted slowly as far as I could(and then some) in both directions just before going to a chyropractor. My pain was gone before I arived, he said this is the same thing he would have done.
A chiropractor or medical doctor will both approach this problem differently. Make sure that you know the advice of both before considering something like surgery or accepting that nothing can be done.

It is impossible to be more specific without knowing whether this is a basic subluxation, some sort of degeneration, or even a muscular problem. A chiropractor might be able to make the problem go away quickly and without pain, even if your doctor says he can't do anything. Likewise, a doctor can deal with some problems better than a chiropractor can.
hang up side down completely relax for 3 minutes a day that will help a little
