How long will nicotine remain in your system after you quit smoking?

Answers:
The nicotine last less then twenty four hours hence the craving for a cigarette. The rule is if you can get past the first 3 days without touching a cigarette then you are well on your way to quitting. The tar in your lungs lasts much longer years in fact and it depends on the amount of years you smoked for how long it will take to completely be gone from your lungs.

I believe I was told only a short time like three days. But I tell ya, when I quit, it seemed like a lot longer!

4 EVER
I don't know for sure, but I highly doubt it will last for more than a week. That's what I'm guessing. Ask Google.

One week to three weeks depends on individual capacity to excret the nicotine remained.
