My husband wants to quit smoking. Does anyone have any helpful tips for him and for me? He smokes 2 pks day

Answers:
Get rid of all smoking tools ( lighters, ashtrays, etc.). Wash bedding, use Febreeze on furniture. Don't go anywhere that reminds you of smoking, and when you think of smoking, think of something else. (My favorite thought was " I'm going to buy a pair of Minolas with all the money I save"). IT IS HARD, but do not give up. I found nicoderm to help curb the cravings, but I also found it to be more mental than physical. Keep hands busy. My friend used a hypnotist, and it worked well for her, but they can be sort of expensive.

I wish him luck! Maybe think of all the money saved over the course of a year.
Each time he goes to get one he should try and do something else. And each time he goes to buy another packet of them put that money into a jar and the he can use that to buy something that is more useful
2 packets of cigarrets in a blender w. milk and a banana mmm cinnamon salt and mint give it ot him and after he drinks that sh*t he will never smoke again .
this is one of the hardest addictions to break. and hes got a serious habit! the patches help a lot he might have to use them even while chewing that gum two with a two pack a day habit but hes got to really ready to quit. try setting a quit date like the least stressful day of the week or better yet if hes got a vacation coming up soon. good luckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!
Every time you light up force yourself to visualize yourself on your death bed with rotten lungs gasping for breath.
Quitting smoking is extremely difficult. The withdrawl makes us not want to, but we know the risks and we know that they are not worth it. For anyone who wants to end their nicotine addiction, check out www.stopsmokingcleveland.com. This is the MOST effective method on the market. It is 86% effective and the details of the program are on the website (no signing up or submitting your information).

I tried this program and it changed my life.
