Through the blood test when I was pregnant found out that I have secendary stage of Syphilis?

It scared me to death. I kept praying so that my baby won't be infected. Thank God, my new born baby is negative but I am still worry a lot for my baby's health. Please let me know what should I do for my baby's health. Thanks.

don't panic - if your baby has tested negative there is a HUGE chance that it will be fine. your general practitioner will likely keep an eye on it but as long as there is no huge mixing of blood then your baby will be fine
