I get dizzy on treadmill; do you have any idea why it happens?

could be dehydration, or a lack of oxygen...i have asthma and i get dizzy if i work out too hard...talk to your doctor, you may have exercise induced asthma and they can give you an inhailer to help you breathe better

Other Answers:
perhaps its dehydratin, drink plenty an hor b4 you exercise, it could even be motion sickness......
have you barely started exercising? That can be why, your not in shape yet, take it slow, and sooner or later, the dizziness stops.
Lack of oxygen to the brain. Do you have poor circulation?
Are you running or walking, if your running it could be your not breathing properly, be careful dont push too much. also look away from the threadmill if your looking down this affects you too
You should consult your doctor about this before going back on the treadmill. This could indicate many things - some serious, some not. It's probably nothing. Maybe an inner ear infection meaning that the crystals in your ear are off. Either way, please get it checked.
Problems with blood pressure can cause this as well. I would recommend talking to a doctor about it, as should it be something blood pressure related it could be a serious matter.
There are 2 possible reasons I can think of for the dizziness.

The first maybe because you are dehydrated. You need to keep water or gator aid with you. When you work out, you sweat, which is water weight. If you don't keep yourself hydrated, you gain back the weight that you lost working out.

The second possibility is that you are starting at a pace that may be to fast for you. You should always aim to walk a pace that you can still maintain a coversation.
YOU NEED TO DRINK MORE WATER AND TAKE IT SLOW. YOU MAY BE OVER WORKING YOURSELF AND NOT BREATHING PROPERLY.
Sometimes treadmills make me feel disoriented. I think it's the moving without really going anywhere. It especially happens when I step off them. If you've ruled out medical issues this could be what's happening.
When you walk outside, you use your mind because you have to think. For instance, you have obsticles and you see different seneries. When you walk on the treadmill, you aren't using your brain. The only thing thats working is your legs. That is why walking outside works better for me, unlike other people.
make sure your drinking enough and not getting dehydrated.also watch that your not over excerting yourself. try slowing down, start with a few minutes each day and gradually build up. make sure your eating enough
this could be high blood pressure. Get it checked.
Maybe you are increasing your heart rate too quickly.
don't look down.
Just drink water, make sure you fully stretched, and dont over due your self at once! BEN WALLACE couldnt life 300 lbs his first time! Just work on it!
maybe because you are looking down at the belt try looking up as if you where actulaly walking somewhere it will help
