I agree with what is said. the expression "you are what you eat" is extremely true. Also, most of the people that are skinny usually eat more than fatter people due to their bodies metabolism. If you only eat 2 times a day with snacks in between, your body tends to store fat since it does not know when it will be receiving its next meal. If you train your body to eat 5 times a day (breakfast, fruit snack, lunch, snack, dinner) with all meals consisting of a low calorie intake, then it will get used to the consumption of food and no longer store the food as fat in your stomach. Also, try to stop drinking soda. I drink water with lemon (no sugar) with my meals and it goes down good. This should be your first step. Second, exercise exercise exercise! In order to burn the fat you now have, you need to work out! Try a cardiovascular activity such as jogging or running. If you have a pass to a local gym, use the eliptical or stepping machines since they offer less stress on your joints. Can't find the energy to excercise? Get a friend involved with you. When you do your cardiovascular activity, do it for at least 30 minutes. The point after is usually where the fat burning tends to take place. Fun fact, in order to burn 1 pound of fat, you need to burn a little over 3000 calories. Think about that when you are looking at what to eat.
