What is a defibulator?
Answers:
It's the device/paddles for jump starting a heart.

An AED or Automatic external Defribulator is a device which shocks the heart into a normal rythem. I ONLY works if there is a defribulation (uncontrolled flutter) in the heart. It does not work in "flat line" patients.
It is like a "reset button" for patients. If the heart has not stopped, but is in a fatal rhythm (the heart is still beating, but in a funny way that could kill you), you can deliver a shock to try to reset the rhythm so that the heart does not fail.
