How long does it take for the swelling from a buttocks constusion to heal?

I carried a bag on my shoulder with a heavy notebook in it for several weeks. The point of the notebook continually hit me in the buttocks and now there is a knot.

Lol, sorry, that's really funny. It should only take three to four days, don't carry the bag any more, and perhaps lay on a bean bag and don't sit on your bum when ever possible. If it gets worse or inflamed, see a doctor. Try ice and advil for temporary relief.
