What degrees should your spine be when you get an x-ray with the Charleston brace on?

There's no answer to that. Hopefully less than when you are out of brace. The main goal of brace is to prevent surgery by stopping or slowing down the progression while you are still growing.
If you are using Charleston, you must have not too severe of curve. There's new type of brace called Spinecor which is pretty revolutionary with treatment of scoliosis...
