I had a biopsy on a mass in my Lymphnode, and it turned out to be non-cancerous. What else could it be?
Curious if it could still be cancer...or what...
Please let me know if you have any ideas what it could be.
Answers:
There are non-cancerous tumors. They are just tissue that starts to grow in an inconvenient place. A friend of mine had one in his spine and it cost him his ability to walk because it put so much pressure on the spinal nerves (as it grew there was no room for it inside the spine any more.) It is probably a good idea to have it removed it it keeps growing or if it interferes with other organs or tissues.

You could have hypothydroism.
Are you sure it's not mono?? some strains of mono are not picked up on the most common tests. If your second biopsy comes back normal, goes see an infectious disease specialist. They will know which tests to order.
