What to wear under my Cap and Gowns for graduation? Any recommendations...

Graduation is to commemorate the finishing of something big. Everyone who's gone through high school knows what a huge deal it is to get through school and earn enough credits to graduate. The walking and recognition is a big deal for parents too.
As for what to wear under your cap and gown that depends on what you're doing after wards. If you parents are going to want pictures or are going to take you to a nice dinner then I would wear something nice underneath. If you're going to a party and won't be asked to pose for graduation pictures in those clothes, then wear something you would party in.

be sure to at least wear shorts! It was hot when I graduated high school. If you go on to college you will graduate again--it is a celebration of the knowledge that you have gained. I graduated 3 times!!! High school-College & University.
i would recommend wearing the clothes you will feel most comfortable in for your after "graduation" celebration. Whatever that may be.
It's the end of a big milestone. It doesn't really matter what you wear underneath, but you don't say whether you're male or female anyway.
I know this May be a bit old fashion ,, but ,,, this is the biggest day of your life .. I'm sure you'd like to wear something like a dress with sandals if your a girl and maybe white shirt , and dress pants and dress shoes if your a guy . Pictures will be taken before and after the commencement and you do want to show your family that you are an adult . Congratulations !!!

Most girls wear a nice dress or dress pants and a shirt under their gown. Guys should wear nice pants and a nice shirt. Make sure you are comfortable. Graduation is important because it is a ceremony honoring your move from one major part of your life to another. Good luck on your big day!
When I graduated for my Masters, some chick had thigh highs and garter belts on - does that count as an answer?

At my school, boys have to wear pants, button down shirts, ties and close-toed shoes. Girls have to wear skirts/dresses and modest tops.
The point of a high school graduation is to celebrate your high school experience. It may be the last time your entire graduating class is togeather. EVER. Its a time to celebrate with friends and family, to enjoy the memories and to say good bye.
