can someone who is taking LEXAPRO tell me the worst side effects?

I like Lexapro. The controlled release makes the effects of the drug more controlled. I haven't noticed any side effects that I couldn't blame on my brain disorder anyway.

I took Lexapro for my OCD and it was ok except for the inablity to have an or****m. Made me feel better though.
I have never had a noticeable side effect from mine. I take 20mg. daily. Unless being able to deal with life better is a side effect...... :)
I did not experiance any side effects except the inability to climax. I was only on 10mg and "graduated" to stronger meds after only being on Lexapro for 2 weeks.
the worst side effect, well i been on it in 2004 for 8 weeks, bizarre dreams vivid dreams, bloody Eye popping maggots covered with Dog Sh*t, it gave me the tremor badly at night and like i said weird dreams. crazy *** dreams,

I was on Lexapro for almost a year until I finally told my doctor that I hated the stuff. It made me more moody, I couldn't sleep, more anxiety then before and I couldn't concentrate on anything at work. So, he took me off of that and had me try Prozac and that is okay. I am still not sure that this the Prozac is right for me but it is way better then the Lexapro.
My father was on Lexapro as well and it made him react the same way. Maybe it is just in my family. Who knows. I can just say .. Try it and if after 6 weeks you don't like it then tell your doc right away.

I've been on it for like 3 years without side effects. actually its the only antidepressant thats ever done me any good.
