Sanitary belt article - getting popular again?
I just read an article in Redbook that mentions that sanitary belts and those pads that have the little ends that work with the belts are coming back into popularity with young women. I'm curious: any women still using them? What's the advantage and benefits? Why do you think they are coming back in style? Do they work well?

they great they hold the kotex in place in that no leeks or movement in your panties i used theam in late 50 im glad there coming back

They actually work really well for women that wear pads. I use tampons, but three or four of my girlfriends have used the belt and they say it is much, much better than the sticky pads. They say it holds in place better, won't move around, doesn't stick to them, won't bunch up, wears like a thong -- and no TSS (a killer of hundreds of women a year). Anyway, that might be the reason. I'll probably try them for overnight some time...
