Yes by 43 day cycle I assume you mean 43 days from the beginning of 1 period to the beginning of the next. This is completely normal, so long as your period is coming. When I first started by periods changed from 15 day cycle to 54 day cycle.
Stress could cause this or your body cycle could just be settling down or changing.
