I am starting to count calories to loose at least 10 pounds. How many calories should I allow myself per day?

its not so much about the calories, its if your eating right. make sure your eating lots of vegetables and fruits and stay away from fatty foods. also exercising would help a lot as well. i dont believe in dieting, i believe in eating right and exercising and it works too. id say either to go the gym or run a couple times a week. do some sit ups a couple times a week and maybe lift? but most importantly eat right!

It depends on your weight. The heavier you are, the more calories your body burns. If you did nothing all day, your body would burn 12 calories per lb of body weight. That's if you are sedentary ALL DAY. So take that into consideration. There are alot of calculators on line that can tell you better.
i've known people who eat only 3 apples a day and that's all
that isn't very healthy but you would still be alive even if thats all you ate
