did her mothers drug abuse cause this?

I know a girl who is 21 years old. she seems to be hard of hearing, yet she passes hearing tests with flying colors. Her attention span is very short, and she is easily distracted. She has a very difficult time reading, and comprehending anything she reads or hears, she has a very poor memory, and is a very poor speller, also. Even worse, her eyes move back and forth all the time, like she cant hold them still, and she doesnt even realize this is happening. Finally, she has frequent outbursts of extreme anger. is this her moms fault?

Answers:
more and likely yes...when you are pregnant and continue to use heavy drugs can cause alot of those symptoms..And if you use heavy drugs around a young infant who's insides haven't developed it's in the air...That alone causes alot of problems...Sounds like her mother was a heavy user and she received no attention at home which can cause A.D.D and A.D.H.D..She probably would benefit most if you can find her a good councilor..good luck

Other Answers:
yes it is.
i would have to say yes
i don“t think so
It could be but then again there could be alot of causes.Assigning blame won't help her.She needs a complete physical by a medical doc and then a referral to a psychologist
not enough details.. and it is too late to pass judgement if mom was the cause. what is needed now is intervention to help this young lady so she can have a more productive// happier life style. note.. although it may sound like an extreme case of add or adhd.. there r alot of children with these disorders and their parents have never drank or done drugs in their lives.
It is highly likely but she may want to get tested for learning disabilities or other causes for her symptoms as it may be treatable.
It could have been the cause, it is possible that it could be something genetic though.
its possible but she may have other health issue not because of her mom. my friends baby has a type of stigma the makes his eyes move non stop, and she didnt use drugs. but what does it matter even if it is moms fault it cant be changed. just learn to forgive her and move on in life
